Bill is a lifelong outdoorsman with a deep passion for boating, fishing, and the coastal lifestyle. Growing up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, he spent much of his childhood offshore fishing with his grandfather out of Cape Hatteras and Cape Lookout—experiences that laid the foundation for a lifetime on the water. His competitive edge developed early, including participation in the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament beginning in 1978.
Bill attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington (1982–1986) and made Wilmington home for over 25 years. During that time, he balanced running a successful financial services firm while competing on professional fishing circuits, including SKA, FLW, and IFA tours—gaining extensive experience in both the business and performance sides of the industry.
In 2009, Bill expanded his horizons internationally, moving to South America where he founded and operated a big game fishing lodge. This experience further deepened his knowledge of offshore fishing, yachts, and diverse cruising grounds across Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Today, Bill brings a lifetime of real-world boating and fishing experience to his clients, offering valuable insight and guidance to help them find the right vessel and fully enjoy their time on the water.
