Description
This Amel -55 is one of the most versatile and sea worthy boats ever built by the premier builder of Blue Water cruising yachts -Chantiers Amel , of LaRochelle, France. She was designed and built as a cutter rigged ketch to the guiding principles of Henri Amel β A cruising yacht should be robust, comfortable, and easy to maneuver.
Carabelli has been exceptionally well maintained by a professional company to the highest standards, and is probably the cleanest, best equipped Amel of her type , or newer, you will find anywhere. She also has very low hours.
She was ordered by her original owner as a World cruising yacht. She is at home in any port and can accommodate both European and American 220v dockside electrical systems. Her interior includes power outlets for 110v as well as 220v. She also is completely self sufficient with her generator and solar panels and water maker for off-grid cruising.
Her design incorporates over 60 years of Amel technical innovation for excellent sailing performance, as well as safety including the Amel 5 zone water- tight compartment system for maximum safety at sea.
The interior layout will accommodate 6 people and includes 3 full bathrooms. Her cockpit is exceptionally roomy and has the optional hardtop and dodger over the helm, PLUS, the sliding fiberglass cockpit extension for maximum protection from adverse weather.
This boat is US duty paid, and ready for your cruising adventures.
